What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact form submissions

In case you wish to contact us through our contact form, you will need to enter Name & Surname, Email address and your Message. This information is necessary in order to be able to reply to your request. It is possible to record some additional information automatically, such as date & time of submission or your IP address, for archiving purposes and in order to prevent spam and abuse. No data is shared with third parties. You have the right, at any point, to request us to remove your data from our database.

Cookies

We use a cookie to remember your answer for the cookies and tracking technologies consent banner.

We do not use cookies regarding the website login for the visitors. Cookies are only used for the authorized users of the website. These cookies contain important information for the website use.

  1. A temporary cookie is set to determine if the browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close the browser.
  2. Upon log in, we will also set up several cookies to save the login information and the screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If the option “Remember Me” is selected, the login will persist for two weeks. Upon log out of the account, the login cookies will be removed.
  3. Upon edit or publish of an article, an additional cookie will be saved in the browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article that has just been edited. It expires after 1 day.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics for tracking useful information regarding website traffic. Google Analytics does not hold personal data. It tracks data such as the visitor’s location and device, the pages the visitor visits, the time spent on each page etc. This information is helpful to understand our audience and how our pages and services perform in order to optimize them further.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps to display our portfolio company locations. If you are not logged in with your Google account, Google Maps may gather basic visitor’s data related to your browser, or the device that you are using. In case of logged in users, Google Maps may gather data related to the visitor’s account.

Google reCAPTCHA

In order to prevent spam and abuse, we use the reCAPTCHA feature at the Contact Form, in the Contact page. This function is primarily used to distinguish whether an input is made by a natural person or abusive by automated processing. The service includes the sending of the IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google.
